Eastergate posted an impressive total, finishing on 215 all out from their allotted overs.
• J Bateman was the standout performer, anchoring the innings with a composed 61 (60 balls), striking 9 boundaries.
• He was well-supported by C Bradshaw, who blasted a quickfire 54 (41 balls)*, including 9 fours and 2 sixes, finishing unbeaten and providing vital late-innings acceleration.
• Contributions also came from E Geraets (25 off 23) and openers R Reed (23) and S Grant (24), setting a strong platform.
Despite a flurry of wickets in the middle order, Eastergate maintained momentum and posted a defendable score.

Petworth Park CC 2nd XI Innings
In response, Petworth Park managed 188, falling 27 runs short.
• S Keville tried to anchor the innings with a patient 40 (60), but lacked the required support at the other end.
• Cameos from S O’Rourke (19 off 15) and A Keville (22 off 30) added some spark, but consistent breakthroughs by Eastergate’s bowlers kept Petworth under pressure.
