Under 13 vs Middleton CC, Sussex, Under 13
First game of the 2025 season - what an outstanding performance by our U13 squad.
ECC won the toss and elected to bat.
Winter training paid off with everyone performing well and we started adding consistent runs to the board.
Excellent batting by L.Hewitt - Retiring not Out along with R.Whiteside & J White striking some superb 4’s.
Our bowling and fielding was simply brilliant, superb teamwork and encouragement throughout the entire innings.
Three bowlers with 2.00 or less economy - H.Booker, L.Galvin & A Huin-Wah. H.Booker & L.Galvin taking two wickets, with O.McMullon, W, Terry & S.Kewell all taking wickets too.
The fielding was tight and accurate seeing win the game by a considerable margin.
